I'm back and this is the jam of my life.Psych rock from Zambia by a band called Witch. Came out in 1973. I stole the link from know your conjurer. Seriously if this doesn't do it for you, just end it. Why are you listening to music?
I'm back and this is the jam of my life.

Let me tell you, people, I am drunk and this is one of the best garage rock/punk records I have heard to date. My friend Chris was telling me that this album was one of the main inspirations behind the music of his band. It is soooo good. I'm not just sayin' either! I played about 30 seconds of this for my roomate and he was like, "oh yah, I gotta get some of this!" (coming from a guy who listens to nothing but black metal and troll metal nowadays!). I realize I'm a little late on the whole Billy Childish train, and that maybe most of you have heard this album before, but the truth is I don't really give a shit what you think, much like Billy Childish doesn't really give a shit what you think(probably). This is worth a serious listen. You should build a shrine for this record. My personal favourite tracks are the ones with the harmonica on them. Love that mouth harp. Give me some more. Seminal garage.
There is no way to describe how much racket these guys make. Let me tell you that listening to this record is about as painful as jumping off the highest diving board into a pool of gravel and salt, but in a good way. Take your time to listen to it and enjoy it because once you're done your hearing will be gone and you'll never be able to listen to it again. This is out on fan death records, the likes of whom brought you the lamps 7" I posted a while back. K, goodbye buddies.

It seems to me that these guys are wiping up their shitgaze sound a bit. It's still as noisy and dirty their old material just maybe with more emphasis was put on recording. I don't know. You can buy this tape from Fan Death records! Sometimes I play this at work and then people ask me to turn it off.

So here's a compilation that Stiltbreeze put out last year that flew under my radar. Awesome tracks from Kurt Vile, Puffy Areolas and a few more, but the real shiner here is the 'Clarence' By Sic Alps. Heavy bass-y guitar riffs compliment some pretty cheesy psychedelic lyrics. It gets bonus points in my books because when I worked in a factory my foreman was named Clarence.
